Hey David,
The idea of putting two blades together from different sets which have
had a diasgreement with mother earth, might not yeild the results you
are expecting...
Even with the same design of carbon blade, you'll be lucky if you get
two odd ones that balance... Unless you dont mind a little DIY
balancing of course... :-).. go easy

Andy, do you mean that every PAIR of blades is balanced before they are
boxed? I almost dont beleive that, I'd have thought they would get the
manufacturing process right because it was cheaper.
However, thanks for the heads-up. As for DIY balancing, not a problem.

Yes, I think at manufacture they sort them into different 'bins' and
pair them up before they get boxed... could be some old BS I heard
once, but I'm pretty sure it's true...
DIY balancing is sometimes an option, but I've had NHP's so far out
(the same design) that I'd have needed something pretty drastic (and
unsafe) to balance them. Bit of a pisser really, cos it often happens
and it would save some cash on blades for sure.
Give it a go, you might be lucky... but I'd be surprised if you get a
smack on balanced odd pair

Believe it Dave.

After manufacture, the blades are weighed and matched. Differing thicknesses
of carbon, or a slightly thicker/thinner mix of resin will affect the blades
enormously, so they're all matched as individual pairs.

Very true. At least it is for Revo's blades.

It's possible, but you really need the two blades to be at least CLOSE and
it's been my experience that they're usually not.
