I have about 6 gallons of methonol and a quart of nitro. Does anybvody know what a good oil would be for making a reasonable fuel mix? NOT Castor, please.

You should know that nitromethane is not sold in a pure form. It's usually cut with methanol to ensure stability. PURE nitromethane is shock sensitive much like, but not as much as, nitroglycerine. The methanol makes it totally safe but that also means that you don't REALLY have a quart of nitro. You'd have to check into the cut ratio and calculate that into the mixing equation to figure out the true nitro mix in your final fuel.
