Got bored of hanging a door and returned to fiddling with my helicopter,
then started wondering why you would want to use the mixture control
function on the GV1? Anyone out there use this feature and if so, what are
the advantages of doing so? I have a gut feeling that is probably more
relevant to larger models with large engines (i.e. not my Raptor 30). I can
see why a mixture control on the Tx might be useful for fine tuning after
initial start up (avoids going near those blades!) but my engine (TT39)
generally seems happy enough in flight. I'm not planning on using mixture
control - just curious. Presumably Futaba thought it would be useful for
someone.
