Hey everyone,
I've got RFG2 right now, and I want to be able to practice 3D aerobatics realistically. However, I have a hard time justifying spending $150 AeroFly Pro, at the moment.

How much better off would I be with AeroFly Pro than with RealFlight?

Mike,

Do a search - I'm pretty sure there are a number of aircraft created specifically for 3D in RFG2...

I purchased both and I would say to not bother with AeroFly Pro.

With G2 I have found the Extra Special to work ok. You can download the Super Extra Special for 3D flying:

Also I like Add on #4: It has the Extra 330 and the Edge 540:

I have a P4 2.4 and my screen is 1280 x 1024 and AeroFly Pro can only be a small window without it being too slow. So I can't fly full screen with AeroFly.

Oh another thing you can do in G2 is set your Time Multiplier to something like 50%. So you can practice your 3D moves better.

You can find that option under Options / Miscellaneous.

The Cap 232 3D from the Real Flight swap page is pretty good for hovering if you don't have any expansion packs. The Extreme 330 based off the Extra Special is great for 3D as well. The Edge 540 is nice in add on #4 too. Several 3D versions on the real flight page.
