Hi.
I am looking to get a pair of custom foam wings 48 inches wingspan, ~ 13.5 inches root chord, ~ 6 inches tip chord, and with symmetrical airfoil, from eps or pink foam, for about 12-14 shipped. Is that possible? Could anyone cut me the pair that cheap?
Let me know, Florin

The raw material will cost about $15 plus shipping to the foam cutter, plus the cost of machine cutting time, plus the cost of the operators time, plus the cost of packing materials, plus the cost of shipping to you. I may have left out some costs but you get the idea. If someone provides you with a set of cores for your price they will be making a present to you of the costs they are not charging you.

Agreed. Your asking for 4 pieces 24" long. ( assuming you don't need a constant chord section going through the fusulage, if so you need 6 pieces.)

Figure a box bought singley to fit these will go about a 4-6 bux, and shipping even USPS for a box of this size around 3 lbs or so being about 5-6 bux, plus the chasing to find the box, buy the foam, cost of the foam, and then of course make up some custom templates and finally cut them and pack them.

Hard to imagine with all the chasing around plus labor they'de have much less than 2 hours into this, and about $30 out of pocket expenses.

Offer $60 or $75 and maybe you'll have some interest.
