yes
12x2 means 12 turn- the x2 means it is middle range torque x1 is more speedy and x3 is more torquier and **** so get up steep hills.

6 turn is faster than 19 turn. It also drains your batteries faster. You
won't get much torque from a 6 turn, though. Check your speed control for
it's lower limit on turns, before you fry it with too hot of a motor.

Isnt less turns = more speed but more turns = more torque?

:-) I'm forced to admit that I've never needed more than a 27 turn stock
motor, (1 turn, of course), so I don't know. I do know that you must gear
down to get the best performance when going to a lower turn motor. It's in
all the tips and guides. Lower turn motors get much higher RPM limits,
however, so gearing down with a hot motor actually INCREASES top speed over
a higher wind motor. By 1 to 4 teeth, of course. Don't go crazy and drop 9
teeth just because you went down a few turns.
