Well got the plastic out and got a new toy.......a Century Hummingbird (to
practice on before I go all the way and get a big egg wisk).

Anyway, my problem. It is set up according to the (sparse) instructions but
to get anything like a balance the battery pack has to go as far forward as
it can. Not at all like the photo in the instructions where it is well
back. Now the canopy won't fit and worse, it is not at all stable in
flight. Do I add weight to the nose?

Anyone else experience this?

All together now....

Ah haha, haha, haha, haha, haha hahaaaaa.....

No seriously - micros (such as the HB) are not easy to hover. It will work
you hard for the duration of the flight. If you can hover a micro, you can
hover anything.

Morning Steve

I moved the battery as far forward as I could and hacked the canopy to
fit. Degree of stability depends on your experience with helis and
whether it is trimmed for hover.

All good posts, BUT!!!!

You MUST make the heli balance fore/aft when suspended by the flybar. It
should balance so that when lifted by the flybar the skids lift of evenly.
An aft CG is harder to fly than a forward one, at least for a complete
beginner.
