Nice finish, but not terribly useful information on your site!

You're not planning on attaching yourself to a battery are you? :-)))
I wouldn't think it was a good INSULATOR and if the base material is metal,
then it's as likely as not to be conductive.

Indeed it is, but aren't most metals?

That's because the clearcoat isn't conductive though, it's not really
anything to do with the substrate. Having said that, I wouldn't poly over a
wire, shove 40,000 volts up it's chuff and grab hold of it!
However, there's absolutely NO need to clear over chrome, because the reason
we clear over is to give a deep gloss, and NOTHING comes close to chrome for
giving that "naked". and remember, chrome doesn't rust, so what's the point
of clear coating it?

So I take it you'll not be off to the Canadian Colonies for the training

When I originally e-mailed "chromeit", I mentioned that it would be a tad on
the expensive side to ship my bike over to them (in California) so they
could chrome up the bits I wanted doing, so the alternative was to get the
material either sent here or some place I could buy it here, and at around
15 grand UK money, I think it's a goer. Whaddya think Andy? :-)
Or should I just polish the stuff and take it to the bloke in Bolton who'll
chrome me any part for a fiver per item if I do the prep?:-)))
Decision, decisions!;)

Why, are you bored with sucking it yourself?
