If the April issue will be here soon, how come I just got my March issue today? I thought subscribers got the mag before it hit the news stands.

Been traveling; got my March issue on Friday the 13th;
PS: would prefer not seeing that type of cover on future issues; fairly offensive to some, remember the heck Sal/NSP got a few years ago when he used a similar style in a few of his advertisements.

Saw it in Hobby Shops last week before getting my copy on Saturday?
PS: looks like the March cover wasnt appreciated by all; is it worth controversy? http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=207367&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

Are you afraid of girls? Pent up skeletons? Your Bhurkas getting too short?
:D
seriously, Im just yankin your chain JRB.
Why do people take such offence at seeing women? I really dont know. Do you think it is because it is taking the modeling hobby out of context?? Then What if they displayed a model on a dining room table in a casserole pan??? is that offensive too because it is out of contect or not relevent to the hobby??
oop!......oh sheese!!! there's a woman shopping at a men's store, or...hehe...I love this....ok...no I wont say that one...hehe...
I love contoversy, just to see the big vein pop out in people's heads.....Life is too short to stress over this you guys.
Note to the Kiona guys: Dont take all of this too hard, there will always be puritans wanting to stop the Hellish damnation of Earth by the showing of another human being on a cover of a magazine..............We should be more concerned about the Cover paper quality, and the way it has been splitting in the recent issues. It is really brittle lately.
Is it because you got another printer for the mag? or a cheaper source for cover stock paper?
Just want to let you know.

Keep up the great work, Kiona! I love the magazine and the beautiful women are a nice bonus! Has anyone bothered to read the bio's of the Models?
I saw that plane fly at an electric show put on by IRKS. It is a fantastic aircraft and I can't wait to read about it.
Now if we could just persude Sal to make another calendar, I'm getting tired of recycling my old one.

Do you really think someone who happened into a hobby shop bought a copy of the March QF because of the cover? Is that really what they need to do to increase their magazine sales?
This is a very old issue; 1st came up in the late 60s early 70s; the publishers then realized it was less offensive to have fully clothed pretty girls on the cover.
Like this family friendly site; why should QF take a chance of offending anyone in this manner.

..because they are desperate for cash, and the company whose plane is sufering from frottage (look it up :D) paid then to run that cover?

Are you guessing Vintage1 or have you seen their books? You've posted that at least twice. There's enough misinformation here without starting more.
I hope they are solvent, I enjoy the magazine, especially some of the full scale interest stories. And I don't know who else in the US covers soaring, except for the occasional contest report in the AMA book.

Am I mistaken or is the pilot in the model on the cover of Quiet Flyer's April 2004 issue only wearing a singlet?
If so there may be some flack when it goes on sale here in Australia,
We lost the right to 'bear arms' some time ago.
OK, sorry,, I'll leave now.
