All I can find on the Memphis site in colored line is twisted. Do they have braided in a bright color? I winch my planes without retriever on a dry grazed pasture and spend more effort looking for the chute that anything else. I dyed the chute fluoresent pink which helped some. Dirty white twine is hard to locate. Some bright pink braided line would be nice.

Just tap the peadal, and look for the chute to move...this makes it easy to find..:)
We always used white lines

From an earlier thread at http://www.rcgroups.com/archive/topic/104373.html. I hope Mark doesn't mind the repost:
Home Desperate (depot) carries #18 braided seine. They usually have it in
white, fluorescent pink and yellow.
It is either in the masonry section or the line and chain section and comes
in 250' or 500' spools depending
on what part of the country you live in. One of the MFG's. is "Lehigh", you
can find them online and
call for a local distributor. This line is rated at 200 to 225 lbs. and is
nylon so it has enough stretch
to absorb any shock loading. I use this seine on the open class Hose Monster
high starts and it is very
durable. Like John stated earlier, you really don't have to worry about
shock loading with the line.
The only way this would be an issue is if the line were too short or if you
used a very elastic line
monofilament and the mono probably wouldn't cause a problem either........
