All of these little electric helicopters worth buying the £120-£150 ones on
Ebay I don't fly helicopters only planks and it looks like a way of trying
them without spending loads, or is it throwing money away, if they are worth
buying what do I need to look for as some only have two servos so if I am
correct these must be fixed pitch or is it worth going for collective any
suggestions welcome (apart from get lost?) I have a suitable radio FF9 so I
don't need a transmitter

Generally speaking the more you pay, the better they are. The better they
are the better they fly. The better they fly the more fun you have!

BUT...you don't fly helis, only planks so are you asking..."would it be okay
to learn helis on a 150 quid leccy chopper?" then I'd say NO. Learn to fly
helis on a proper model heli. If you want to fly micro helis full stop then
buy a decent one, if you ONLY want to fly 150 quid whirlers the buy one of
those. But learn to fly a sim first. OMMV.

Probably not the answer you wanted!!

Now, if you DO want a micro heli, have a gander at my advert posted below!!
;o))

Thanks for a honest answer I cant really afford hundreds for a full size and
be able to afford to fix it if crashed hence the reason for the question
£150 is the most damage you can do to a £150 helicopter
and I cant see you advert?

WRONG!!! Once you bust it it a few times, add on after-market this and
tuning-that...boy does it mount!!!

My ad is four or five posts below this. It says....

Complete Piccolo Pro leccy heli, plus LiPol cells and charger.

Heli is modded as follows...

Carbon main blades (SS), aluminium pitch slider, aluminium hub, aluminium
one-way bearing, delrin main gear, aluminium mast collar, delrin AR link,
spare tail rotor (DD). Phew! Did I really spend all that cash on this?
YES!!

Also included...picoboard, HH module, three GWS pico servos.

You'll need...a tx!

All I want for this lot is £300 plus postage, unless you collect it.
On the other hand, I might swap it for something of similar value in the
heli world...another type of leccy heli? I dunno, try me.

David

Enjoy,
