Spartanburg (SC) Sky Knights Heli Fly-In ?
Some members of the Spartanburg Sky Knights RC Model Aircraft Club, in an
effort to promote the hobby of R/C model helicopters, have included helis in
the invitation to a fly-in /swap shop at the Saturday April 17th., Fly-In
event.
We have several members that expressed an interest in a heli's only Fly-In
event sometime after the Black Sheep Fly-In and wanted to see if there was
enough interest in the Spartanburg, SC area to attempt such an event. We
know of several who are just beginning to learn and some have minimal
experience but, would others in driving distance be willing to share there
expertise at a Spartanburg, SC Heli Fly-In (non-competition event of
course)? Maybe some factory reps out there could support us by attending as
well.
Let us know if this is worthwhile and any tips at making this successful are
welcome.
