Looking for a good online source of tires for an old Tamiya Hornet (about
1991 or2). All the hobby shops that I have talked to just roll their eyes
and say no can do. Pretty lame. The unit still runs fine, but it has been
badly beaten.

Thanks for any help

Do you know what the wheel size is? You should be able to find tires very
easily

Rim style is also important. The old units like the Hornet have split type
rims which clinch down on the tire bead.

If it's not on 2.2" rims, you should be able to find some Tamiya wheels and
hubs (hexes or whatever shape is needed) as a straight replacement, then
just run any modern tyres on it. Look for wheels and maybe hubs off a more
recent Tamiya 2WD, such as a Madcap, Fighter Buggy or similar.
