The approval of a contest or event dates are the problem of the cooridater not the Vice President. Every one talks about what Jim McNeill does and dosen't do, If he wants to buy antics I don'i see anything wrong with it as long as he gets his Vice President duries done. I have sent many e-mails to Dave Brown over the years. However I never got an answer. Does that mean that we is not doing his job and we should get another president. I don't think so.
The problems that I have seen with organizations that I have belonged to is that there are to fue dooers and always lots of no dooers. And the no dooers always complain about what the dooers do.

Since we all can't be leaders we always find faults with the leaders we have.

Thank you Mr. Micalizzi - AMA D-V AVP. Obviously you have the same understanding of what the VP's duties are as your VP Mr. McNeill. I guess we can't expect him to fullfill them if he doesn't understand them.

Lets start with filling the frequency coordinator position as outlined in the bylaws, then making appointments of key people having the required qualifications from the membership, rather than appointing non-members and then giving the membership and leader member status to make it look right.

Campaigning for 3 years getting as many pictures as possible of potential voters and giving out club of the month awards to every club visited to gain support is NOT what being a VP is all about.

BTW, we note the appointment of a new AVP for Control Line (Martine), but at the same time 4 other AVPs dissappear from the AMA web site list of AVPs for D-V. Care to share with us what happened to
AVPs Sires, Van Duzer, Boartfield and Gregory?
