A question posted on the Parkflyer forum led me to the ELC forum. Didn't know such a thing existed, thought I was all alone. I knew some people had played with ELC and I recognize some of the names. I WAS surprised to find GWSCEO4 here.
I'll be getting busy with some models, all size and configuration of C/L electric and send you pictures of what I do. Gotta" give Radio Shack a call about parts for a low voltage relay.
I think I'll whip out a quick fun ship first using a S400, 9.6v, Ace tapered foam wing (Carbon fiber reinforced), RC style box fuselage, external bellcrank, maybe even couple up flaps. I have a spare GWS Rx and ESC I'll drop in until I learn more about low voltage cutoff. Besides, throttle sound like fun.
GWSCEO4 take a lesson from Vernon Estes; his company, Estes Industires, is successfully marketing model rockets and now "pulse" type RC models through outlets such as WalMart. With your expertise and resources you could develop electric C/L models for mass marketing. Gain even more by including brochures for your ParkFlyer equipment and you could lay a foundation of young modelers for the future.
