Hey all,
I was hoping some of you guys can help me. I am currently trying to modify my paintball loader(uses a servo) to feed at a much faster, forced speed. Right now my servo is running at .4 seconds/60 degrees, pretty slow. I have heard of some servos running at .04 seconds/60 degrees. I have a picture example on the faster one mentioned. Unfortunately the site i took the picture from is in sweden and will not ship to the US
Anyone know where to get these ridiculously fast servos? Any information would be really helpful. thanks again!

You can get a servo that runs faster, you can get a servo that runs slower.
But if you REALLY want to increase the the rate of fire in relationship to the rate of rotation on a servo with regards to the push rate on teh servo, decreaseing the lever arm on the servo will increase your rate of fire more so than making a servo that moves faster.
DO the math--- increasing the speed on the lever arm motion only moves the arm quicker, making the arm shorter means that the rate of motion is applied to the lever arm sooner per signal.

Tachikaze-thanks for your input, although i'm not 100% sure what exactly the level arm does, and where its located in the servo...When you say 'level arm motion' do you mean it will spin faster or a faster reaction speed? thanks
Back to my original question, does anyone know a reputable online site to buy a .04/60 servo?:D

I dont' know the exact dimensions of my current servo, it is about 1.5 inches long, 1.5 tall, and .75 wide. Very rough estimate.
Thanks for the website, unfortunately the .07 won't cut it for me.
My loader uses a .059/60 right now, and it feeds at a rate of 17 point something balls per second. I've found out a .04 should feed at a rate of 25 balls per second.

Lever arm refers to the attachment to the rotation knub on your servo. In the picture you posted, the white cross that sets on the servo is what I was talking about.
You have a picture of how the servo is set up on your gun?

Ok, the lever arm has 6 paddles(able to hold 6 paintballs when at rest). Basically a 6 star paddle. Here is the best picture i could find without using my webcam;)
The bottom right is the paddle on the loader. On an earlier post, you said 'descreasing' the lever arm will raise my rof...
I wish someone knew where i could get a .04 servo;)
thanks for your help tachikaze

ok im a paintball junky and rc car junky. an rc car servo only turns about 60% around and paintball servos spen 250 degress around
how willl that work out. and why the **** would you need it to fire more the 16 bps

Its not that i need to shoot more than 16bps, its that the evlution hopper is not a true forcefeed. If you are familiar with the halo loader, it is force feed and can act almost as another 'eye' on your gun because it feeds so fast.
Even though the evlution is fast, if my gun bounces, or i shoot a very fast stream, sometimes the evlution will not keep up and my gun will chop a ball.
Having the extra speed and reactivity would only lessen my chances of chopping.
