This is a question for flying wing owners. I would like to someday get into flying wings for their durability and ability to fly in high winds. In your opinion, what plane would give me a decent approximation of the difficulty of flying a wing? I'm probably going to build a small electric pusher wing to fly behind my house over a cotton field. Basically, I want to know that if I can relatively master plane XXXXXX, then I should be able to handle a wing.
Thanks,

I'm not a beginner, but I'm not all that experienced either. I currently own 3 planes in flying condition, but I was wanting to get into wings. I like smaller planes, but they usually don't like the wind. I was wanting to get something like the Clic or Pocket Wing so that I could fly in front of my house on almost any day.
My planes are: Pico Stick, Sig Li'l Rascal, and a Herr Cloudranger. I haven't flown the CloudRanger in awhile because the first time I did, it wasn't very fun (way too nervous) so I bought the others to do some more training (Cloudranger wasn't my first, but it was pretty close). I didn't want to bust up a plane that took me forever to build and cost me a fortune by the time I was done. I guess I'll get it out soon, but the wings seem kinda neat so I thought that I'd look into it.
Thanks,

To fly a flying wing in front of your house that will take a lot of banging.........Have you considered an electric like the Zaggi or Fix? I've flown a Zaggi in some pretty stiff winds, in fact you can really work the wind to extend flight time.

I'll have quite a bit of room. I'm the only house on the culdesac right now and then there's always the cotton field 100yards away if I need the room. I planned on buying one of the new 20" electric wings. All of the reviews I've seen say that they are extremely durable and some fly as slow as 15mph if you want them to.
