Just got my first helicopter, a raptor 30 v2 and I got a few questions.

Will an OS 32 SX-HX (this is the one with a pull starter) fit, or should I get the regular engine and an extension for the starter? Any other engines that you had good luck with?

Also a gyro question. I have a futaba 6XA and I know that is almost the same as the 6XH. Will Futaba GY 401 work with this kind of radio? If not, which gyro will? I would hate to go out and buy another radio. But if I need to, will an Eclipse 7 work with the helicopter and 401 Gyro?

Last one. I have the 29bb version. Should I buy the 20 extra bb, or it will do the way it is?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if the pull start engine will work. I think personally, I would want the wand. It is very easy to use and I know it works.

That gyro will work fine with that radio. I think that radio has the same programming as the heli version, just different ratchet on the throttle.

The 29 BB version works fine, but if you can swing it, the rest don't cost much and make things work smoother and not wear out as fast. It is worth putting them in.

Its a great helicopter. Have a ball with it.

From what I have read on other forums, the pull start OS32 has a little less power then the regular one. The OS32 is a great motor (I have one in my Raptor), but I think they are a little under powered. If I was buying a new motor for my 30 size heli, I would go with the TT39, they have a lot more power then the OS32. The OS32 (either one) will work fine for you, but I think down the road you will wan't a little more power.
