New Years Day Combat

Anyone have combat plans for New Years day? I'm thinking some of the warm weather folks will have something going.

Warm weather folks are whimps. I will be towing a streamer in Northern Ohio tomorrow. Yee Haa.

Yup.. your right! I thought there would be a few responses. Even here in Minnesota the combat guys will have a go at noon New Years day. Have you noticed what a nice sharp cracking sound streamers make when it gets chilly??? DickB

I was out flying yesterday, and as luck would have it, another combat pilot showed up, so we tied on streamers and had a little practice one-on-one. It was nice to get back in to it a bit.

New Years day saw five flying the nasty GNAT's at Grassfield RC in Brooklyn Park Minnesota... a little cool, a bit windy, a couple of dinged GNATS but a good afternoon for all

I towed a streamer and a couple of electrics tried to trim it but couldn't. A 3D spad put on a streamer and flew around as I was leaving. I could only talk above a whisper due to an infection that I was fighting for the last 2 weeks. I'll find out Tuesday at our club meeting if anyone managed to trim the spad.
