Does anyone know where these brass horns are available? I think Graupner makes a set from Hobby Lobby but there $13.00 and come with an extra part that I don't need. After shipping I'm looking at about $22.00 for a pair, OUCH.
Do most of you guys make them or buy them pre-fab?
Here's a picture of one from f3x.com........

I've ordered spares from Icare before...weren't more than a couple bucks.

You can make a reasonable substitute from brass tubing for pennies. Just flatten one end of the tubing in a vise, drill the clevice hole in the flattened end and file the flattened end to a half round profile. It takes less than five minutes to make one.

Hi,
Aircraft-World has them in different lengths. I ordered a bunch a few weeks ago.

Paul,
Now you know how to make a tow hook, same idea. Just use the same nail, cut the thread on the bottom, cut off at the correct length.File two flat side and drill the hole! Probably cost about 10 cents and some free time.
