I've been flying for almost a year and for Christmas I got my first glider, a Gentle Lady kit. Santa also got me a nice 6-channel rx and the servos I'll need. A guy in my R/C club has already promised me some other parts I'll need. Three people in my club have also given me parts for small R/C or free-flight projects. This was a very nice Christmas indeed!
Once I get the Gentle Lady built, I'm afraid I'll be hooked on sailplanes!

Santa brought me a 9CAP also. That was the easy part. This is my first computer radio and there is a lot to take in. The elves brought me a Spirit Elite ARF. Now if I can find a good bit of time, I am set.
I must say, repeat, and agree: My is the greatest also!

Cool. I've noticed my parents are talking with local driving schools...I wonder what they're planning... I'm gonna see if I can work this summer so I can afford insurance, if not a car. Looks like you only will have two more years of stuff like $1 AMA membership etc....I even get free membership to my R/C club at my age! The old guys in my club are jealous of my young-person reflexes lol...

Seared Ice:
Hang in there long enough and you'll be jealous of those young guy reflexes too.
Not to mention eyesight.
Enjoy them while you have them.

In December, I won a Pocket Combat Wing (http://www.edgerc.com/) in a raffle at CASL's (http://www.casl.net) annual toys-for-tots event.
Santa brought me the electronics I needed to finish the PCW. I have only gliders, so this was my first electric and flying wing.
It is soooo much fun, I fly it every day! Even better is the 1200mah LiPo that has flown three days in a row without recharging!

So how many of us have been putting together our flying christmas presents or learning how to program the transmitting ones? I hope Buran has been using what he got. I'm almost ready to cover my Gentle Lady. Yes, emersunn, 1200mah lipolys are nice...I've got one powering my Mini IFO.
:)
