Hi guys.. has anyone here posted reviews
for this sim....... I'd like to know what
people think of this as oposed to the real
thing.. I want a heli when I get the money
I have my eyes foucoused on a battery
powered RTF Skylark chopter... as can be
seen here http://www.hobbytron.net/skylark.html
The game I'm refering to is RC HELICOPTER
Remote Control Simulation ..that's as the
Title reads.. it must be rare.. I searched
google for this group with no results..
I ran accoross this while christmas shopping
for 10$ ..though it was a good buy
all I found was a game called StuntChopter
which isn't what I got......
This is for the Sony Playstation.. I like
the game and stick controls seem real like
but I've never flown a real heli..
I'll quit rambling.. by the way would that
copter be a good choice ..the Skylark?

Hi,
Not sure about that one, but my son's got StuntCopter, and I find that more
difficult than the real thing, and I put it down to the controls on the PS2
as the sticks are quite short, and hence do not give the degree of movement
on a normal TX - This would be the biggest difference between any PS2 sim
and the real thing.
If it's easy to fly on your game I would suggest that it's not that
realistic.
The PC sims you get are normally very good as you can plug in your normal TX
and change the settings on that etc. to see what effect they have. I
personally use Reflex which I find to be exactly like the real thing (apart
from you don't have the same nerves !!).
Cheers
