Thor,

A group of us in the Minneapolis area have taken to GNAT combat this winter. We are flying outside on the mild days. I know, it's not the fanciest out there, but we are having a great time. We are using the GNAT to get the interest going and some of us will likely move up to better planes as spring draws near. Anyone around the Minneapolis area who wants join us let me know. We fly Saturday or Sundays at Grassfield in Brooklyn Park.

We have the first Saturday of every month from 12 to 4 pm set aside for combat. We have flown combat when the wind was howling, snowing, raining and whatever just to get our fix. Winter can slow it down a little, but it no reason not to combat. BTW, this is in Colorado, not exactly the warm spot of the nation in the winter.
