I know that this thread has been discussed. I want to know if anyone offers a service of repairing. I have just aquired a RnR Summa Classic as my first RES contest ship and have a right wingtip that is creased with a 3/4" crack on the trailing edge. I do not have the skill to really attempt a repair. I believe I can redo the repair of the cracks on the fuse wing platform but don't have the confidence in doing the wing tip. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Steve,

I see you received the Summa. The cracks on the wing saddle can be fixed with some epoxy and glass. i repaired one side that way and it held up fine. As for the wing tip, nothing is structural there. I flew it a lot like that and never noticed a difference. At one time there was a guy in Dallas that had some tips he was trying to get rid of but I never tried to track him down. You may want to try the RCSE.

Enjoy the Summa

Hummmm, I just saw a thread on fixing wing tips... with photos and everything... try a search and track it down. It was a week or two ago I think...
