Hi there Tornado, yeah Ive built the mini laser 3d which goes together like a jig saw puzzle...
The wood is a very good selection...the laser cutting is as good as it gets ...and with the stock hardware (except for the included electric motor - you want brushless) the performance is excellent...
With that light wing loading it's a wild little plane
The 3D is the bigger brother and should be that much better in the air
I can safely recommend it

hi tornado,
i have a laser 3d with a irvine 46. the kit slots together realy good. but the only thing is when you have a little knock with it it seems to break were the fuselage joins together but other than that it is a realy good plane ;)

yeah, it's true...not the most robust kits out there, but that's the trade off for the light loading - I've had a few incidents with mine too...nothing that can't be repaired though
