All the ones I know have credit card processing facilities, those that don't
probably are not worth dealing with as they may not be legitimate trading
companies. Why use Paypal with excessive fees when a legitimate trader can
easily get CC account/processing with a business banking facility.

"Why use Paypal with excessive fees when a legitimate trader can

Paypal's fees are there because they have to recover the Credit Card
company's fee, which is about 2.5%. If they didn't, Paypal would lose
on every transaction.

If you pay $100 with Paypal, the seller gets $97.00
If you pay $100 with Visa/Mastercard, the seller gets $97.50

I don't call that excessive.

you are missing the point, there is no need for Paypal when you can process
cards yourself. Legitimate companies woulds have this facility for personal
callers etc.

I think the bloke (Z) has probably got funds in his Paypal account and he
wants too buy things with it that aren't possibly available on Ebay!
It a legitimate question that I have asked about myself, many times before.
Paypal is an easy transaction and as the other chap say's, not expensive
considering.
I really cannot see the problem with Paypal. Everyone who disses them,
always want everything for nowt !

You folks forgot one thing. Paypal is not a Bank. If you had a biz would
you want a non bank to have control of your money and be able to hold on
your account if one person tried to pay you with a stolen c.c . with you
having no say over anything . I think not.
