I really like the looks of scale combat, unfortunately there are no scale meets here in Florida (and not enough open B /SSC for my needs). I would like to combine my love of Combat and my love of electric. I am thinking a twin powered warbird. I will NOT put my brushless motors in a combat plane. I am thinking of a twin long can 400 powered ship. This keeps it relatively low cost, and could be powered by a 3S1P 2600 Irate. I know it won't come close to competing against a .25 powered open/scale plane, not even the newly proposed 2548 class. I think it would be just about equal to a SSC on .15

I know that currently it would not be allowed by SSC rules. However I say build it, show it and rules can be changed.

Any thoughts?

can't wait to see that project done.

hope to cut that streamer soon.

gotta love electrics. i think we need to start looking at electric alternatives to some of our combatting. seems like scale is a great place to start.

Well I got the motors. 2 long can 400's. put on a 6 X 3 master prop and got 15000 rpm at 12 amps. I got the EPP...thanks Slam... now I need the glue. looks like its going to be a Mosquito. probably around 52" span.
