Try doing a search in the 1/2 A forum on rcuniverse.com, many people have made this conversion. They seem to like it, and the Norvel .061 has a ton of power and the total weight is in the low 20 oz. range, so it actually flies a bit better than with the electric setup.
I built one for my brother couple of years ago, and agree that it is a very nicely-finished plane.
Good luck!

I converted the Wattage Giles 202 to glow power with a Norvel .074
It was very easy to make the change.
Just make some marks on the firewall to show where your motor prop shaft centers (on the top and side) then saw off the wood mount. Make another thin plywood firewall and epoxy on top of the old one. You will need to cut some plywood spacer block to glue to the new firewall. They will extend the engine out to match the former prop shaft length. I mounted the engine horizontal with the exhaust going out the bottom of the cowl.
This makes a neat high performance airplane!

You can do a search for "Wattage Giles" on the 1/2 A forum at rcuniverse to see some pictures.
Sadly, I crashed the plane on the third flight due to flying into the sun.:(
