Here is my QHOR, it started out as a PQHOR but I did not put a profile on it. I would recommend this to anyone that is out of the trainer level. Fly it slow and close, and you will soon be able to hover and other neat stuff. My SPADSTICK was my favorite until I built this one. Built per the plans except I put a .40FP on the front and added two inches to the wingspan.

I have taken her out twice, and my throttle and rudder hand gets quite a workout.

PS Now if I could only get my hands on a .46FX for a SPA3DT:rolleyes:

You think a downsized QHOR plan would work well with a .25FX? Dont really like the profile look either...looks flimsy. NICE job on your QHOR BTW...like the rising sun. Was thinking about buying a .46FX soon...they have em on sale for $89 at my LHS

you would not have to downsize very much. A .25FX will have close to the same power as my .40FP, but with a little less weight. If you wanted, you could take an inch or two off the wingspan, but I would not make the tailfeathers smaller.

This plane is SO much fun to fly. If you have not built one yet, do so. Before I built this one, my SPADStick was my favorite, now it is this one, and I cant wait until I get a .46FX to build the SPA3DT. If you do get a .46FX and build a SPA3DT, I would put some foam in the wing like it was done in this post -
