well, there is no doubt in my mind that the TopFlite will build easier. The Royal kits where really builder kits.
Anyway, I will move this over to the warbird forum. I think that our expert builders will chime in here.

Top Flite kit is much simpler to build. Partly because it is not as scale as the Royal kit and partly because the TF instructions are fantastic while the Royal instructions are nearly non-existent.

I just purchased the .60 size f4u-corsair from hangar 9. It is a great kit. It is gonna be a easy build. It comes with 90deg rotating retracts installed!
I'm getting ready to buy the radio and engine soon!

well, next for nothing is always a winner :D . Go for it then !
Just be prepaired to do a lot of building and be patient. Let us know how it goes and keep us informed as the project develops.
Good luck

You have already built a TF Corsair, so you should be ready for the Royal. I love the Royal kits personally; in fact the parts count for the Royal is smaller than the TF. The Royal kits do assume that you know what you are doing, the instructions are more than adequate for someone with some experience in scale modeling, just no pictures. Can you tell me where I can get one for next to nothing :D
