I looking for recommendations for a indoor airship for my 10 yr. old. I want something complete ei. radio motors esc. Something that could tool around in a den and an occasional trip to the local YMCA b-ball court. Not a cheap toy ship but not gold plated unit either.
TIA

not much action here. Anyway, I decided to get the Balloncraft 2000. There was a good review at ezone that helped me decide.
thanks

We got a 17.99 cheapie from Hobby People a couple days ago... It's 3 channel and the electrics are along the same lines as those micro cars. For what it is, it's impressive. Hope you have good luck with yours too!

Have been toying with the idea of a Blimp for indoor flying in a large hall where we fly all kinds of indoor planes on the first Thursday of every month.
I was wondering how feasable it is with all the spotlights and thingies hanging from the roof, not to mention some of the faster electric planes whizzing around.
Anyone have any experience of this ??
Cheers. Patrick. :) :D

I would think the Airship Blimp would be a good choice. Specs show 51" long and that seems like it would give plenty of lift. You might have to replace the radio though if you experience much radio interference. I am considering purchasing one of these myself. http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/690635.asp
on sale for $39.95. :D
