N777XS - what would be the all up weight of your spa3d with the gp42 installed?
Woodsy - i have a spa3d that weighs about 3.74 pounds (about 1715grams) without any engine installed and i am wondering if the Thunder Tiger gp42 engine would hover it ok. If not do u reckon the TT pro46 would be fine? (46 is quite a bit heavier than the 42)

At nearly 4lb the 42 would probably strugle, it may hover but the pull out would suck (if it would pull out at all) you could make a mouse can pipe for it which would help, i'd go with the 46 and swing a 12x2.75 prop
