If your going over 30MPH post here list your setup that got you over this mark.
I'll Start. Cen Electric GX1 D5 9 turn motor 6 Sanyo 3000's LRP pro reverse ESC 81/30 gearing. Has ran a best 3.46 @ 35MPH in a 132 foot drag strip.
Electric Bolink Pro Stock. Team orion 17 turn motor Microswitch 2400 team orion stick pack. has ran a best of 3.33 @ 42MPH in just 132 feet.
As you could guess these are just 2 of my cars. I will post more setups later after other people have a chance to post there setups.
I won't get to my real drag cars yet they'll go speeds in excess of 60MPH with only 6 cells.
So lets here those setups!!!!!

I borrowed some parts and got my Dynamite 1/24 Rocket Racer to go 32mph. I used the stock esc/reciever, dynamite bearings, Team Orion Elite Micro Modified Motor, and I was using 7.8v. That's all I can remember right now.

I've got an HPI RS4 Rally (http://www.hpiracing.com/kits/rally/r-m.htm) (1/8th scale), Trinity D3 12-turn motor, Medusa Research Spectrum 50 Amp ESC (http://www.medusaproducts.com/ESCs/Brushed-ESCs/ESC-1450BB.HTM), and a Saleen Mustang body. The rest is effectively stock and with a 6-cell pack I got it to go 37.4 mph. :D

Hi!
Over 30 mp/h?
That's no problem.. :D
Tamiya TRF 415, Team Orion Revolution Motor, LRP Quantum Competition, 6 GP 3300 cells. Honda NSX Body..
That runs more than 30.
But, how do you know the exactly speed of your cars?

I have a small handheld GPS unit (Garmin eTrex - intended for use while hiking) that has a "Max Speed" feature. I zip-tied it to my chassis under my body. It's small and light enough that it didn't require any adjustments of the body, so at full throttle goinig straight it didn't affect my top speed.
My original plan was to use a radar gun (Kidpower QuickSilver) that a coworker let me borrow, but the car was so small that it was impossible to get a good reading.

In the german RC-Forum, they also want to mesure the speed with a radar gun, but the GPS sounds better.
If I ever have too much money, i will buy a GPS-System.
Thanks!

I'ts a long story, but I actually won mine in a contest. Incidentally, you can get them (on this side of the water :p ) for about $100. If you're really interested, eBay would probably be a good place to check.
