Battery cut off

Have made a c/l electric out off a Tiny wing (enlarged 1.4*).
Now it looks like a combat.
Have a geared speed 400 with 8 cells that I had in a R/C plane before.
Don´t want to put a reciver in it but still want it to cut in about 5 volts. There is some autocut-off made by hitec and others. It is no controller but a BEC with auto cut function and a safety detail, it wont start before you push a button after you pluged in the battery. They are to expencive.
Old things with old prices.I t is cheaper to buy a controller today.
Do anyone knows how to build one?

If you just want to switch on then have it cut the motor as the battery voltage goes down a simple relay is the easiest way.
