I think District V can claim a new record for the number of people their VP
can show in his Model Aviation District Report. In the January 2004 issue
D-V VP McNeill backs up his statement "People are more interesting than
models." with a grand total of 90 people shown on a single page, an
individual record of 21 in just one picture.

Not to be sneered at are the number of clubs that can be named "Club of the
Month" in a given issue.

Are these modelers in District V hot or what?

Someone is not proofing the pictures it seems as there was the tail of one
model that snuck in to the "people" shots.

Will D-V elected a VP next year that is interested in modeling?

Only photo he showed of our club he got the members in the wrong order, and left my name off entirely...

That and the fact he was told by several members to be sure and attend SEFF but couldn't seem to take the time to attend the largest electric meet in the southeast. No doubt its time for a change.

He and a very nice lady made the Jackson, TN flyin this weekend and took some pictures. It was a bit of a drive for them. I tried to ask some questions about the AMA and it's future directions but got no replies what so ever. He was more focused on taking photos.

I hate to say it, but it was a bit strange. Perhaps he talked to members of the Jackson club and I missed it when flying???

Strange? Not really when you understand what his number one objective is - getting votes so that he can hang on to his VP position and the expense budget for District V for another 3 years.

You also probably missed him giving them his coveted "Club of the Month" award and patches for all members.
