Hi Gang!

Today it finally cleared up and I got to maiden my Modeltech ME109. Although its a 25 I am powering her with a 34 Thunder Tiger and I was absolutely baffled at the results. Took off after about 4 m in somewhat high grass and then went unlimited vertical. Another Awesome fact was that I was a LOT faster than a 46 Powered P51 with only 600g more weight :D Was really a lot of fun and the Modeltech ME is a kit worth buying! The craftsmanship is the best I have seen in an ARF Kit yet. Only problem: the 190cc Tank that comes with the ME is a bit small for the 34 TT. Had to land 3 times due to fuel cut.

regards,
Rev

Reverend,

I agree, i have the .40 size, powered by an OS .40FX. It builds quick (three afternoons) it's light and it really flies great.

The only problem i had is with the gear, as it comes out of the box it's to far back, so i had to bend it about 4cm forward (that is almost 2") otherwise it would nose-over while taxieing (is that spelled correct  )

Oke here a pic of it,

Cheers & have fun with the "Emil"
