Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a Simple Series P-51 any feed back would be greatly appreciated. I have a Thunder Tiger .10 that I would use, what do you think.
Thanks.

Bear,
Is it still available, I don't see it on the Quamtummodels site anymore? The simple series planes need to be 16 ozs or less, so it may be a little heavy with that engine. Any heavier and they really stall quickly. If you can keep the weight down it would be ok.

House of Balsa (H.O.B.) has a .10 size P-51 and a .25 size.
In the Hobby People catalog the numbers are 516353 and 516625.
If you want a great flying plane try the Spacewalker .10 # 516367

I see that Ace shows the P-51 on their website. They even have a forum. It makes good looking, easy to build model. I may try one myself. I would use a .061 and keep it light.

I have always wonted a P-51, would like to have one ready for spring. I just got back in to flying its bin over 20 years. I'm flying a Hobbico Superstar EP and have about 40 flights so far. Working on putting a os .25 on it. The short flight time and battery recharging is getting old.

I had one of those EP Superstars and it ground looped like crazy...way too weak to do anything but fly a figure 8...I sold it. It would be great with a .25, be sure to add real hinges.
The smaller planes are a little harder to fly due to less wing area. That Me109 is a neat plane too. :)

Thanks for the tip about the hinges I would of over looked that and would have bin wondering what happened after it hit the ground.
