Anyone got any preferences or comparisons yet? Or is it still a case of
personal choice (as I suspect it is!!).

Having seen and held both, but only used the FF9, I was very impressed with
the JR version...such a nice feel to the tx. Going to buy one or other from
Cyber heli soon...trying to determine which.

Any help?

On the other hand, will I get much benefit from a new tx over and above my
FF8...maybe I should buy a new heli instead.

What do you want your new TX to do that your FF8 does not? What limitation
has the FF8 presented for you to consider buying a new one? What annoys you
about the FF8?

If you think a new tranny will magically transform your flying, I think you
are barking up the wrong tree as far as justification goes. If you just
'want it', go for it but you won't find much more regarding useful
functionality than you already have. You will however find the FF9 and PCM9
nicer to program. I know what it's like to be looking for justification
when you really desire a new bit of kit but I also know the regret of ending
up with something more or less the same as I already had after forking out
loads more dough - especially when you still desire a new heli:-)

If it was me, I'd get the new heli - they are different :-)

Having said all that, If your finances do not preclude you from making such
purchases on a whim, get a PCM10 or 9 Z-Wc-2. You won't need to look again
from a lust POV.

I hate it when someone talks sense!! ;o))

I have found no reason at all to want to sell the ff8, but I do have someone
who wants to buy it at a good price, the current prices for ff8/ pcm 9 are
good from cyber heli and I do love the look ofn the pcm9x!

I do not expect a new tranny to make me better in anyway at all.

My finances certainly do preclude the zap set!!

I think I might keep the ff8...but thopse prices are so low right now eh!

Hmm I just checked the price for a new 9CHP from CH. I'd be tempted too...

Doesn't this generally signify that something new, different and
(possibly) better is imminently forthcoming ?

I just figured it was the low dollar rate right now.

Maybe they are bringing one out with an anti-crash button, like on sims!!
You know, "easy, hard, realistic" and 'Crash Settings Sub Menu: Bounce,
Ding, Splat.' ;')
