Dionysus Design's first product is TREC, a 5A rated High Frequency ESC. It is designed to control the tail of micro RC helicopters but could also be used in airplanes as well.
The main feature of TREC is its modifiable throttle curve. This allows you to limit the power to the motor, make startups slower, or whatever you want. Most people use it to customize the helicopter tail response from the gyro.
It is programmed by connecting it to your Windows based PC. Using our software, you can: Enable/Disable things like safe start, input averaging, low voltage warnings, and mixing. The software also allows you to modify every parameter including: Signal endpoints, Voltage warning level, Output frequency, Input signal averages, and the mix gain.
The firmware on TREC is also user upgradable! You can download the latest firmware from our website and replace your existing firmware in about 5 minutes.
TREC is currently available starting at $45. TREC will be shipped pre-programmed so it will behave exactly like other ESCs. The PC communications cable is needed to customize it.
