Anyone have any info on this plane - has it ever been kitted. Anyone know if a good plans exist or has anyone built one? Pics? Suggestions?

There is a really nice Ercoupe by Pat Trittle in electric-scale area, not sure if that is the same plane.

To my information, the ERCOupe was never manufactured by Aeronca. Originally, it was originally designed and built by Engineering Research COmpany (ERCO) before the second world war. At the end of the run, it was built by Mooney.
There are pictures of some pretty ones here: http://www.ercoupe.com/
Fiddlers Green has a card stock model of it that looks cool http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/aircraft/private/ercoupe/ercoupe.htm
In the back of my mind I recall that there was a construction article on an Ercoupe in Flying Models, but I don't know of a kit.
Try http://www.carstens-publications.com/plans_directory.php
Unfortuneately, Flying Models' brand new plans page is not yet fully searchable. You have to manually scan the listings.
Northrup Plans Service might also be worth a try.

Hello, everybody,
Aeronca C series C-2 and C-3, 7 Champion series, 11 AC Chief, 11 CC Super Chief, 15 AC Sedan, 50 Chief series, 65 Super Chief series, K Scout series, L series, L-3 Grasshopper, Arrow, Chum, TG-5. The Ercoupe was produced by ERCO, Alon, and lastly by Mooney.
Could probably send you some detail pictures of a few Aeroncas and Ercoupes. Good luck with your search for plans.
Cheers!

There are a couple of Ercoupe construction threads in the Electric Forums - just do a search. As I recall, there is quite a bit of discussion concerning plan sources, etc.
