So is anyone flying this fine old simulation? It's a pretty dated 3Dvx glide/ VooDoo card based sim that has a considerable improvement when upgraded to the Super patch from this page (http://rensg.sqhq.net/) . The other nice stuff that has come about is there are folks who are still tweaking the game for better playability, rendering, flight modeling and scenery. There are links at Ren's site for for SWWISA's page and the Hells Angels super patch. Although I'm not using HA at the moment, as Rens patches cover just about all that I want to do with this sim as I fly mostly in single player mode.

The nice thing about the improved plane and scenery patch is that it will make the game run faster and have less trouble with getting dumped to desktop when you're running a slow system with lots of action happening.

if you still have the CD gett it out, download the self installing patch and have a new look at an old classic.

Salute!

Here's a little taste of the action I've got in a single mission that I've created, that eventually has over 18 planes in a nasty fight over two bridges. I'm in the Neiuport 24 just behind the DVII.

This is in windowed mode, as I've not found a way to do a screen capture in Glide, which is a bit nicer looking and runs at a higher FPS.

I flew that one for a long time, participating in the virtual war on the KALI internet gaming system. Great fun running dual voodoo2 cards. I wish they would have made an openGL or DirectX version.
