Our club is using the older analogue AMB20 transponders (not the new
AMBrc digital type, which are the current AMB-it product), and we have
one dead transponder (No 8).
We can get batteries replaced in these transponders but can't find
anyone who repairs them, and replacements are not available to my
knowledge (AMB offer a trade in for AMB20 systems on the new digital
sets, so they don't seem to come up for sale very often, but we cannot
afford the thousand plus pounds to upgrade as we are a very small
club).
If anyone has any single or sets of AMB20 transponders or knows of any
for sale, I would appreciate it if you could email me my address is
james<at>tauntonministoxclub<dot>co<dot>uk (replace <at> and <dot>
with @ . ).
Thanks very much.
