I was wondering if anyone has heard if a P-38 kit by "classics by price"? It is a 1/7 scale P-38. The instructions recomend 2- .61 2strokes or 2- .91 4 strokes. The wing span I believe is 100 or 107 inches. I have tried to search the kit out in the internet but with no luck. I would appreciate any help. Thanks xray

P-38 lover?......my kind of guy!!!!
You want composite type kit?
Besides above, the only other ones that fit that bill that I know of are Robart at http://www.robart.com/kits/images/index.htm and Yellow aircraft at http://www.yellowaircraft.com/prop/index.htm.
For built up kits that you can build or customize, here are two more.
G&L Hobbies at http://www.glhobbies.com/P38%20LIGHT/1_6P38.htm
or get the VQ as a non covered version at http://www.vqmodelaircraft.com/
There is another kit at G&P Sales at http://www.rcairplane.net/
Aero Tech in the UK makes a "Quick Build" with much plastic at http://www.atimanufacturing.co.uk/
I would also suggest that you go to the associated site for RCU at www.rcwarbirds.com There is a whole section on just the P-38's.
Good Luck,
Twinman
PS Did I miss one? Yes, Wing Mfg at http://www.wingmfg.com/
opps one more.... http://vicrc.com/P38-Lightning.htm
PPS Currently own two out of five total have owned. Got it bad.......I need a life!!!
Sorry if that is not enough.......is my best shot.

Thanks for the info on other kits available. I have purchased the kit from a private party already and was trying to find some info out about the manufacturer of this kit. I was wondering if it was being manufactred by anohter company name like Byron Originals is now Iron Bay. Or at least thats what someone told me:confused: Thanks xray
