Hi all, i'm new here (in this forum) and i just want to ask a few questions.
1. is there a GWS servo named: GWS mini LXF servo? if there is , please give me more details.

2. what mini servo is recommended by most people driving a HPI Racing Micro RS4, 1/18 scale car?

Help is much appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!!

If an HS-55 doesn't cut it, try an HS-81, but be sure you get the MG (metal gear) version, as the pots tend to go bad in the standard one. (I have had a few go out on me).

i don't need a very heavy duty mini servo to run my micro, just a normal mini one will do

I would say an HS-50 or hs-55. the 50 is slightly smaller, but more expensive. The hs 55 is a tough little sucker, and easy to find.

I have been using the Hitec HS-55. It is light enough and fast enough.
The Tower Hobby TS-5 is also a very good little servo, nice speed and lighter than the Hitec.
I have found that depending on the surface that I am running on the weight balance front to rear makes a big difference.
I run two set ups depending on the track condition. The Team Orion Micro Elite is what I use for tighter shorter tracks requiring stock motors. With this lighter motor the TS-5 works well.
On an unlimited track with longer straight aways with less critical turning I am running the Peak Preformance Chubby Micro. This motor is heavier and I use the heavier HS-55 to try and balanceout the weight. You will really need to stiffen up the suspension on the rear for this motor.

I just bought an Hpi micro and it had an HPI SX-1 in it. The person used double sided tape to hold it in. I am missing the original servo mounts for the vehical and I would like to get this fixed. Can some one help.

The HPI Micro does not have a servo bracket, at least mine did not have one. I use the double sided tape with no problems.

The chassis that I have has 2 holes near where the servo goes and was thinking that they where for servo mounts. Does anyone know what these holes are used for?

Hey those holes are for a hpi tie rod steering set. This thing gets rid of the steering rod and makes turning a breeze. It costs about 10.00-13.00 dollars can be ordered from most hobby shops, also tower carries them also.
