If you can fly go for the Hornet, by far the most responsive . manouverable
out there, well chuffed with mine. If you are learning go for the
hummingbird.

Hi,
I happily fly a Picollo - just like my 30 & 60 size helis, I have gradually
upgraded it to a "Picollo pro" as bits have worn out or broken...

However, the Century Hummingbird is the newbie on the block that seems
awfully good, combining the the features of the Hornet & Picollo, and it's
dead cheap! I am seeing a load of these at the Lancing indoor meeting each
month.

Hi Bobby... Maybe these URLs will help:

http://www.nottingham-rcs.supanet.com/eolo.htm

Purchase for $378.49 at:

http://at.robbe-online.net/cgi-bin/rims_at.storefront/3fa92de6034cfadf27173e0dc1210675/UserTemplate/1/?ISID=3fa92de6034cfadf27173e0dc1210675

And I wouldn't worry too much about the stories of the Feda Dragonfly /
Hummingbird burning out motors. Although if this does start to become a
problem, one can always pop in a brushless motor for about 80 bucks. Stock
motors cost around 15 to 18 bucks.

My flight time on the Dragonfly is about 20 minutes. Although I land a lot.
And about 7 minutes worth if running at full power during all of this time.

Bill

Just don't go stock - go ahead and spend the extra money on a cusom / upgraded kit with a brushless motor and Li-Poly or you will end up doing it anyway.

For one, its near impossible to learn on the 6 to 7 minute flying time you get with the batteries (you basically only get to fly for 6 minutes every 2 hours why you wit to recharge with the stock batteries and of course the stock motor doesn't last long.
