I started a thread in the micro electric forum titled "RFFS blimp"
I'm still looking for a way to make a very small and cheap blimp from existing micro gear.

Toytronics makes the Balloon Craft 2000, which sells for $ 50, uses an 18" daimeter balloon, has infra-red control system operating off one AAA cell, drives two push-pull motors and one lift fan.

Has yet to try that particular model out. I've made a fairly *limited control* micro blimp that uses 15 inch balloons. gondola came from a Swoops* candy container. if at the right altitude or close to sea level, it's possible to add light, paper fins to give some semblance of straight flight.

This place sells "Zepplin" shaped balloons that are pretty good sized.
