Question- Has anyone used a y-harness
to control the rudder/aileron with right
stick only? I tried it but BAMM that was it.
Don't know if i had to much throw on the
rudder or what. THANX

Nope. Never tried/heard of that.
Some people with a computer radio will mix the rudder and aileron channels together.
But......
My suggestion would be to work with your left hand and get use to using the left stick with the rudder.
You'll be a better flyer for it.:)

When rudder is used to co-ordinate a turn, it is very little compared to aileron. You might be able to reducethe throw but that would hurt other manuevers, especially since we're in the Fun Fly area, FF Take RUDDER a lot!!!
As stated above, learn to use the right stick, you'll need it! And if you want coordinated turns, mix it in a computer radio, or again, use the left stick.
Have fun

How do you mix a Y-harness into the ailerons and rudder???

Do you mean a V-Tail mixer???
Are you trying to get throt/ail/rud/stab out of a three channel radio?
The mixer looks for two different input types which controls servo direction. Linking the mixer to an aileron is only one type of input; just different directions. You might try unplugging one side of the mixer and linking one aileron servo directly to the receiver.
If using one servo for ailerons, try switching sides on the mixer with the rudder servo and check for proper rudder direction.
If using two servos for ailerons and rudder is reversed, plug the mixer into the other aileron. Make sure to turn the snap-flap off and the aileron servos must be operating in opposing directions when the differential flutter is adjusted out or else yaw will occur. Remember there is an 1/8 second delay built into the mixer too.
If you are talking about a standard wired Y-harness you may have a voltage flop problem.
Hope that helps.

Yes, a Y-harness can be used to sort-of coordinate the rudder with the aileron. Just plug the Y-harness into the aileron channel on the receiver, then plug the rudder servo into one pigtail of the Y-harness, and plug the aileron servo into the other pigtail. Make sure the rudder and ailerons are working the same direction (both left turn, or both right turn).
You will probably have to tinker with the mechanical linkages of the rudder and ailerons to acheive a truly coordinated turn with a Y-harness.
A computer transmitter allows you to adjust the proportion of the rudder mix with the programming to acheive a truly coordinated turn. And most "aileron to rudder" mixes still allow the rudder to respond to the rudder stick, but without affecting the ailerons. That way you can taxi normally without using the aileron stick to steer.
But latch66 and gordo gave you the best advice......just learn how to use both sticks. In the long run, it will pay off big time.
