Does anyone have a source for coroplast in western Mass. or Conn. I live in the Pittsfield area of Mass. close to the New York state line. I would like to try this type of construction you folks seem to have so much sucess with. Thanks for all the great info,

Sign shops have the stuff. I see coroplas signs all over the place these days.

Ordered a bunch off the web for our memebers.
If you can get a few local guys together on an order,
it's a little less when you split up the shipping cost.

RANSMI! Another western mass person! You fly down in Lee? I'm there most lunchtimes, and the occasional early morning. I've got a SPA3dt I'm working with down there.

I have not found a good source of Coro to buy in the berks, but I did order a bunch of stuff from harbor sales (http://www.harborsales.net/). I bought enough coro for 4 or 5 experiments, and I think the grand total was under 20 bucks WITH SHIPPING. VERY reasonable, and you get the best coro, esp the white 4mm stuff, which has got to be the strongest stuff out there.

Thanks for the lead to finding coro. I don't fly in Lee. I live in Hinsdale so Lee is a bit of a hoof for me. I have a lot of room so I fly in my back yard. I'm going to give this a try and I will let you know how I do. Thanks again,

Well, I'm lucky to have the Lee field literally right across the street from my work. Just came in from a quick 3:30 jaunt.

Just enough to need to go home and fix the plane again (grin).

You must come down to barnspeed once in a while no? Let me know and we'll fly...

Thanks for the offer. I usually go to Hobby World in Cheshire, but I would like to come down and see how the coro planes fly. Send me an e-mail at ransmi@nycap.rr.com to let me know how we can get together before the weather sets in.
