I've seen many, many different things done with the SS but never glow!
Did you have to fuel proof all the foam etc?
If not, you may find your tail feathers disintegrate in flight one day!

I only covered plywood engine mount with fiber glass. So far no broblems.
This baby flies like a bird.

How did you mount that thing on the nose?
BTW, exhaust won't do anything to foam. The heat will melt it, thats all. So unless heat hits it you'll be fine;)

Great idea....NOW!! I can rip my geared 350 off the nose and make a 3D foamie and bolt my Norvel .061 to the nose of my SLOW Stick!!!
One of those....."wish I would have thought of that" episodes...
Video would be great if you got it....would love to see the performance...
