planning to pull my Norvel 0.061 off the shelf. gotta think of a good project for it.
fuel tank size
1 or 2 oz which would be better and why? I'm thinking of getting a mate for it and doing a Guillows P-38 or skiping that and building another Hobby Hanger Mini Edge 540.
What kind of flight times can I expect with a 1 oz tank? I did have some problems with it in the Edge, would a 2 oz tank give any problems with mixture changes due to the fuel height changes?

Use a 2oz Dubro tank, you can put the amount you want to in it.

IF space is at a priemium, a one once is plenty.I use a one once with .074 in a GWS Zero and get flight times of 5 to 6 mins.Chris.

What are you using in the tank, on the clunk line?
I find the fuel line tubing that comes with the tank, is kinda stiff when the tank is smaller than 4-6 oz. it OK for the 8oz+ tanks for the big models.

I dont use a clunk or fuel tubing.I just run a brass tube to the back of the tank.Rolls and loops have not been a problem.Engine has never missed a beat.Chris.

Wow that sure is a lot simpler, than trying to get the clunk working in the small tanks. I might just try that.
No problems with inverted?

The small 1/2 A fuel line works good in a two oz.

Inverted, im sure you will have problems, but with small engines small fuel supply, so there is going to be some fuel in the tube to keep you inverted for a short time.
